We are looking for a proactive and sociable individual to join our Marketing Team! The ideal candidate will be working closely with our marketing department to increase Axle’s overall presence.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assisting, planning and execution of marketing initiatives
  • Maintain a content calendar and support generating content and publishing to social media platforms, digital touchpoints and website
  • Daily Monitoring and engagement on Axle’s social media and review accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Glassdoor etc.)
  • Keep up to date with program related news, events, accomplishments and awards as well as industry-related news
  • Copywriting for press releases, social posts, email campaigns and website content
  • Writing frequent content, meeting with programs and Business Unit leads to create case study content and white papers
  • Support planning and executing of employee engagement initiatives and brand awareness initiatives designed to inspire the internal staff and external audiences
  • Document data on website and social media engagement for analysis. Establish a cycle for reviewing digital performance
  • Assist with administrative tasks
  • Assess opportunities to increase our brand awareness, reputation management and employee engagement efforts

 Who you are:

  • You have 1-3 years of progressive marketing experience.
  • You love marketing and branding and have a deep understanding on content creation
  • You enjoy keeping up to date with the latest trends relevant to our verticals
  • You are highly collaborative and can also work independently
  • You aim for success and accomplishments
  • You have strong Project Management skills
  • You get excited for learning new things
  • You care to work the best of your ability and are adamant in ensuring things are being done correctly and smoothly
  • You are open to constructive criticism and have a willingness to grow and learn
  • You want to apply what you’re learning directly to your work
  • You like working under deadlines and challenging yourself
  • You are focused, dedicated and self-motivated

Skills we’d love for you to have:

  • Basic knowledge of CMS (WordPress) and how to make updates and changes to content
  • You have basic knowledge around Digital Marketing and related Social Media platforms and touchpoints
  • Strong organizational skills to coordinate and track multiple projects and processes simultaneously
  • Able to help with collection and synthesis of data regarding our digital performance
  • Able to provide proficiency and creativity with Microsoft Office suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva and basic photo-editing software
  • Strong work ethic and able to work under pressure
  • Ability to be detailed-oriented and provide critical thinking
  • Previous Content Management / Content Creation experience (classroom or internship)
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
